Three European awards on entrepreneurship were launched in May 2010 and implemented through competitions, two of which addressed students or future entrepreneurs, and the third one targeting new entrepreneurs. The first two competitions aimed to stimulate the entrepreneurial mindsets of young people and offered them the opportunity to test their entrepreneurial ability through a playful approach. The third award targeted new entrepreneurs and aimed to promote the image of entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship in society and to bring them closer to the entrepreneurship education world.

The election of the winners was taken in different faces, taking into account the experience of an “Evaluation committees” composed by educators/professors and/or entrepreneurs/practitioners among the consortium partners and other professionals, and also POPULAR VOTE open to the public in general with the objective to attract the society to Entrepreneurship concepts. The “Evaluation committee” weighing 70%, against 30% of public decision.

The winners were awarded on the different Entrepreneur's Night between february and March 2011.
