The Entrepreneur’s Night was organized in Madeira Island (Portugal) by CEIM – Centro de Empresas e Inovação da Madeira | BIC Madeira, on the 1st of April 2011, with the main objective to encourage networking, innovation and creativity among the participants.
The night begun with the presentation of the STARTENT - Fostering Business University Partnerships for Entrepreneurship Education in Europe Project, followed by Ricardo Câmara Sousa’s testimony, a Portuguese entrepreneur living in London,who was one of the winners of the European Entrepreneurship Awards – High Techcategory with the Project MediWise.
As the night was about entrepreneurship, it was also presented two more initiativespromoted in Madeira by CEIM | BIC Madeira: the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs, an exchange programme aimed at helping new or would-be entrepreneurs to acquire the relevant skills for managing a business, and the 3rd edition of the Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation Intensive Course in the ambit of the rs4e – road show for entrepreneurship project.
After these presentations, the night kept on with a cocktail offered to all participants, and which allowed the opportunity to do networking, share experiences and knowledge regarding innovation and entrepreneurship.
