The STARTENT European Entrepreneurship Awards are an initiative which aims at fostering the entrepreneurial spirit of young people through three competitions (two for students or future entrepreneurs and one for new entrepreneurs).
Following the rules published on the STARTENT website, the Award Committee agreed:
Students / Future Entrepreneurs category:
1) High Tech enterprises: Business ideas developed by teams of Students/Young people from EU countries that exploit new technologies to generate new products/services and processes.
1st prize, awarded with 5000 €, Mediwise (UK)
2nd prize, awarded with 2500 €, Biotechware (Italy)
2) Transnational enterprises: Business ideas developed by teams of Students/Young people from at least 2 different EU countries.
1st prize, awarded with 5000 €, eReader (Italy – Spain)
2nd prize, awarded with 2500 €, NOA (Spain – Portugal)
New entrepreneurs’ category:
Business concepts from new entrepreneurial ventures (established less than 3.5 years before the date of the application) from EU countries.
1st prize, awarded with 1000 €, Onyx Solar (Spain)
2nd prize, awarded with 500 €, Tre Tau Engineering (Italy)
Winners and participants are welcomed to join the Entrepreneurs Night, taking place in the different European cities.
