The STARTENT consortium is composed of a perfect combination of representatives from academia and the business sectors from 7 different countries.
The STARTENT kick-off meeting has taken place last January in Tenerife at the premises of the coordinator, the Technological Institute of Canary Islands.
The partners of the project had in this way the opportunity to meet, introduce their organizations and exchange their experience on entrepreneurship education.
It has been evident since the very beginning of the meeting how perspectives and experience are different between organization involved in formal education and those which work more on the business side. This has confirmed the need of a project like STARTENT which aims at exploiting these complementarities.
The consortium agreed on the next steps to undertake and planned the future meetings.
As one of the result of the meeting, a group has been created in Linkedin ("Entrepreneurship and its education") as a virtual hub for all those interested in the theme and several discussion are already taking place.
